Life is like a cookie: Never enough chocolate to go round.

About Me

Eccentric, but in a nice way. Quietly creative. Deceptively humorous. Coping with stresses without going mad (that happened years ago!).I'm also known online as "ianardo" the portrait artist well known for classy plus size female portraits. You can see my online art gallery here: Ianardo's Gallery.I've been thrown out of all the best colleges (wouldn't have it any other way). Am now a professor of thermo-dynamics at Heidelberg University (I might have made that last bit up :)

My Interests

Creative projects. Drawing, writing, technical... Classic car restoring is the big one just now. I also have a sweet tooth. Dark chocolates. Choc chip cookies...mmmmm :)

I'd like to meet:

I admire BBWs and SSBBWs. Curves = feminine! I'm here mianly to keep in touch with existing friends. Call me old fashioned, but I value honesty, openness, and trust, as of paramount importance. The "trust" part has to be developed over time.I'm currently "between hugs", so-to-speak, and do miss those lovely far off days of canoodling, but I'm not sure what I want for the future.Any FAs out there, please say "hi" as well :)

Music:

Lots of kinds, but tend to be about 2 generations out of date for much of my taste!

Movies:

Harold Lloyd. If I was better looking and transposed to the 1920s, then the Lloyd character would have been me to a T.

Television:

I have better things to do than watch much TV, although I do enjoy putting on my favourite old films on DVD.

Books:

"Splitting the Fourth Dimension" by Albert Einstein :)

Heroes:

Sir Harry Ricardo. Engine and fuel research pioneer, and also a great word artist and jolly nice chap.

My Blog

Pre-autumn busy-ness.

I know I haven't posted for a while, but although I've been busy, it has been the sort of tasks that don't make for entertaining reading here!AC restoration: After a long gap (forever being sidetracke...

Losing my hair!

Still sore.

This week's main relationship event (i.e. losing contact altogether) is something I feel may be for the best for all concerned. I feel philosophical about it. I do, however, feel a lot less happy abou...

Still here.

Just checking in to prove I'm still alive! Considering the last remnants of hope within my Deltic hobby are in danger, and that the bottom fell out of my business in late spring, and that the relation...
