POP DOWN THE YEARS available @ iTunes & online ...

About Me

At long last, actual cds of Pop Down The Years are available on CDBABY for those of you who want a physical artifact. For those of you who are happy with the purity of the digital realm, you can get the whole cd on iTunes (because MySpace SUCKS, I can't put a link directly to the store, so you will have to go to the iTunes store and do a search for Knox Bronson ... don't worry, you will find me. The cd is also available on AMAZON and eMusic.com if you want non-DRM-ed mp3s.

Whip out your credit cards, kids. You can do all your Christmas shopping with one click of the mouse.

Band Members: Knox - songwriting, arranging, all instruments and vocals.
Andy Crisp - drums and songwriting collaboration where noted. Formerly with the band, 12 Rounds, Andy has done much session work in London, New York, and Los Angeles and is that rarest of treasures: a drummer who knows that all percussion must be in service to the song.
Shoji Kameda - producer, percussion, arranger. Shoji currently performs with the experimental Taiko group, On Ensemble (www.onensemble.org) and records and tours with the venerable jazz group Hiroshima (www.hiroshimamusic.com).

Influences: Machines, bees, ocean waves, Sinatra.

This just in ... Here is a video made by Xavier for my song, "Stay," the third to the last song on the cd.
Here is an older video I made with some found footage, which i re-edited and added my composition, "Redhead Tells The Sun," as a soundtrack. "Redhead Tells The Sun" will be on the upcoming cd, "Stephanie In The Morning," the title track of which is posted above.

Sounds Like: What do we sound like? Hmmmmm .... Tony Bennet meets Aphex Twin with a little Donovan and Debussy thrown in.
Record Label: Tangerine Sky
Type of Label: Indie
