I like children, but If anyone would have asked me a two or three years ago I would have denied wanting to have any of my own, but my biological clock is ticking, loudly, so who knows, I'll put that, like so many other things, in God's hands.
In the future once I get my own s*** together I would like to build a career working with (other people's) children, possibly running my own non-profit organization helping underprivileged youth develop their many talents and help guide them in a positive direction towards adulthood.
I also love visual arts and music and even a little poetry.
I'm curious about the way people think, the psychology of the mind is extremely interesting, Why do people do the things they do.
All in all I don't think I have just ONE great interest, i'm a little interested in a whole lot of things.

At this stage of my life,a big part of me would prefer to be in a relationship, but not with just anyone...with the "Right" one. Hopefully I will recognize that certain He or She when the time is right. Yes I said "HE or SHE"...Like the Yin and the Yang, I've always felt like one person pulled in two directions. Even the simplest of desicions have never come easy for me. I do and always will LOVE men but I've concluded that there is sumthin bout sum women that attracts me as just as well. What I love about men I LOVE the exact opposite about women. It's not a choice! It is something that just IS! Denying that part of me, is denying myself and I REFUSE to do that to myself anymore. It's been a long road and my lifes journey has caused many an internal struggle. I'm still under construction, but the difference between me then and now is that I've done some soulsearchin. I now accept and embrace Me,my personality, and all of my perfect imperfections. It's been too long since I've loved MYSELF, and I've realized that if I don't, Who will? In the end all you got is you. My happiness is all on me. To Love and be Loved that's all I really need out of life...Regardless what sex that LOVE should happen to be.

Music is... the soundtrack to our lives.
I LOVE anyone who Is passionate about their Art. Artists that make Music u can feel, Singers who have voices that send a chill down your spine. Lyracists that have sumthin to say. I love music that u can play for someone and without you having to say a word they know exactly how u feel.
As much as it reflects our feelings its also powerful enuf to manipulate our mood. It's almost spellbinding... For these reasons I can appreciate just about all it has to offer... Movies:
MOVIES, I'll watch just about anything... old black and white films, independent movies, cartoons, documentaries to your basic feature films to throwback movies from the 70's and 80's. Every now and then I'll even pick up a flick, lol. It just depends on what kind of mood I'm in. my friends have stopped sending me alone to blockbuster. I have a tendency to pick up the movies that nobody ever heard of, the ones they only carry one copy of. (most of the time for good reason). A few of my favorites... The Last Dragon (Who's the masta?) Love Jones, The dark crystal, Scarface (gangsta) Welcome to the Dollhouse, Kids, Thirteen and The bad seed (them were some bad a** lil children), Slam, Southern Comfort, She hate me and Ray (my wifey..1 : Kerry Washington), Girl interupted and The bone collector(wifey..2: Angelina Jolie) Girlfight, Girlhood, Pulp fiction, Hollywood Shuffle, The Mack, Friday, The Friday after next, Watermelon Man, Silence of the Lambs, The cell, I like it like that, Saw, Natural born Killers. The usual suspects, Purple Rain, and Imitation of Life.

Television:
I prefer Movies to Tv, but if I must watch...THE WIRE, hands down got to b one of the best series EVER!!! ( they killed off my baby daddy but intoduced my future baby mama...Snoop, that b**** is Gangsta). Chapelle sho was hilarious. I like Law and Order: SVU. I watch a lot of 20/20, 48hours mystery and Dateline. I love Criminal investigations and shows like Forensic Files, Court Tv, or Discovery chnl. (The medical shows on Discovery health are interesting yet at the same time discusting) I do tend to check out Lifetime sumtimes (I have a sensitive side too, lol) If tha tv is on but I ain't really watchin, it's probably on the Food network (I like to cook sometimes),And yes, just like my offbeat choices in movies, I have a knack for watching some dumba** tv too.
Hell sometimes u just need a to put your brain on pause. They say laughter is the best medicine. My new guilty pleasure is Rob and Big on MTV.
Books:
At a younger age I was an avid reader, that's something I need to get back to. A few authors I like now... E. Lynn Harris, Eric Jerome Dickie, Toni Morrison, Zane, Bebe Moore Campbell, Terri Mcmillan.
My favorite books... The Coldest Winter Ever, Caught Up, There eyes were watching God, The biography of Malcolm X. If anyone has any recommendations along these lines, please let me know.
Heroes:
A hero to me, is any Man or Woman who has ever risked his or her life for the sake of another. Someone who believes in and fights for noble causes. Its those who choose to do right despite the fact they think they can get away with doing wrong. Its Anybody whose heart is big enuf to truly love their enemy. Its Those who are strong enuf and have faith enuf to extract the positive in any and eveything life throws their way...
