The Art & Design Association seeks to provide both professional and social opportunities to its members. This is an organization in which New Jersey City University artists from various specializations can come together to be exactly what they are: artists. This may differ for each individual. We are here to strengthen the NJCU art community and to promote the flourishing talents and skills of NJCU's emerging, as well as established, artists.We stand firmly on the belief that there is more to be gained from individual artists and designers acting as a community. The A&D serves NJCU artists by providing a peer support group and network system that encourages both professional and intellectual growth. At the same time, we aim to increase awareness and involvement on issues related to and/or concerning our world, and to utilize the education gained in the arts to contribute proactive and effective change.
