Don't mind me, I'm just gettin my grown man on...

About Me

Music is my fuel. I use it to get me from one day to the next. I am a child of the Hip Hop culture. A poet and writer, philosophical thinker and hopeless romantic. An intellectual seeker of knowledge trapped inside a man-made prison of ignorance (most of us generally refer to this as society). A man who often times wishes he could return to the innocence of boyhood yet, if offered the chance would likely turn it down having not yet experienced the full potential of life. A warrior, searching for something worth fighting for, a king who has yet to found his kingdom or meet one worthy of being his queen, a scholar of many schools and of none. I am an angel who seeks the divine presence, a demon who abhors what he sometimes is. Compromising yet stubborn, simple yet oh so complex, I am a man, yet I always seek to grow. I am many things, not your standard cookie-cutter individual, but just that... an individual. Unique. You would have a better chance if you found out first hand just who I am and judged for yourself. Just know very few people see anything from all sides and even fewer will be shown the whole picture.
"A wise man sees failure as progress, a fool divorces his knowledge and misses the logic..." Rip the Jacker- Poet Laureate
You Are a Bright Star Soul
Like a shining star, you have no trouble being the center of attention
In fact, you often feel a bit hurt when all eyes aren't on you
You need to be number one in everything, no matter how trivial
And it's this ego that both hurts your confidence and helps you acheive
You're dramatic and a powerhouse of pure energy
You posess a divine quality or uniqueness that's hard to define
A natural performer, it's likely you'll become famous in some circles.
Just learn not to take everyone's reaction to you so personally!
Souls you are most compatible with: Newborn Soul and Prophet Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?

My Interests

"I've heard it said the revolution won't be televised
But in a land of milk and honey there's a date you gotta sell it by
Otherwise it just expires and spoils, and the folks jump out the pot
When the water's too hot, because the fire boils inside..."
Talib Kweli- Poet Laureatte

Hip Hop: What it was, what it is, and where it's going (in my humble opinion).

You know, I used to be one of those cats that believed that hip hop both as an art form and a culture is dying. I used to (and still do about 85% of time) hate listening to the radio. I'm 21 years old...
