In ART I specialize in photomontage (collage). Finding images that work together in style but also in scale is the tricky but rewarding outcome of creating a new picture. The works shown below are all hand-scissored and adhesed to wood. Sizes vary of the originals- the largest I've made is 5ft squared which had hundreds of pieces- to smaller A3 pieces. I've recently created a catalogue by photographing works and making images available as digital prints/posters/postcards. Contact me if you're interested!
Recently I've been doing my own photography and using this in new works.
In DESIGN my passion lies in music sleeve design. From beautiful 12" vinyl sleeves, to cd through to band posters. I worked in music for fifteen years, so marrying my two loves (art and music) is the ultimate. I currently design for an Architectural magazine. Magazines/zines/books are also major inspirations, where typography and layouts can thrill. Manipulating images digitally is a whole other level to what I do in my collages manually, and the unlimited creativity is intoxicating! I also illustrate and paint, mostly in gouache. The pictures below are from a Family series.
I love to travel and love big cities but also quiet places for wild utopia! Travelling helps to educate and inspire me in life (along with all my wonderful friends)...
