My daughter Samantha wiggled into this world on 9/11/2006 - finally, a reason to forget about the disaster I witnessed 5 years before. She is the awesomest thing that has ever happened to me.
I'm getting the hang of this mommy thing. It changes all the time, but I'm taking it day by day and learning stuff as I go along. She teaches me new things every day (many related to sleep deprivation, but some more valuable life lessons like patience and selfless love.) I want to be the best mom I can. It is amazing to watch her grow and develop. She's 4 months old and already a little person, so different from the jellybean I gave birth to in September!

I have a degree in Film from Vassar, love to take pictures, edit videos, create digital art and the occasional printed piece, and I have become a somewhat obsessive knitter.
I get computers. Nothing annoys me more than asking someone what their job is and getting "I do computer stuff," as a response. I do my share to make my employer a more luminous choice by directing marketing, website art, and all kinds of other stuff.
I feel like I'm sort of rambling now. I always come back to read these "about me" type summaries later and find that I left out something critical. I suppose what's critical will change from time to time.
I want to find my friends, and try to keep up with them. I want to make music, art and love in this world. And good food. And if all puppies could find good homes, I don't know what else I could wish for.
