I’ll begin with what I don’t like… I don’t like drama movies. I go to the movies to escape drama… not to see more of it. But I seem to be stuck in the 70s. I really enjoy cheesy 70s musicals like Phanthom of the Paradise, Thank God It’s Friday, Can’t Stop the Music, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band, Godspell, Hair, Tommy, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Blues Brothers, Pete’s Dragon, The Muppet Movie, The Wiz, Fame, Forbidden Zone… and the cheesiest of them all Xanadu! My other 70s favorites are The Warriors, Blacula, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Foxy Brown, Animal House, Car Wash, Airplane, Kansas City Bomber, Master of the Flying Guillotine, Watership Down, Charlotte’s Web, Rollerball, Logan’s Run, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Pippi Longstocking, Star Wars, Escape from New York. And I can’t forget horror flicks like Wolfen, The Fog, Dress to Kill, The Exorcist, Alien, Salem’s Lot, An America Werewolf in London, The Howling, Tombs of the Blind Dead, Halloween, The Amityville Horror, The Shining, Carrie, The Fury. I enjoy anything by John Waters! I like Gamara, the flying turle. And good gawd don’t even get me started on television trivia.
