Earth is one in a series of four: Earth, Air, Fire, Water. It's the story of a child mystic, Pearl, whose connection to the Earth scares her parents. Pearl must struggle to find herself in a world that wants nothing to do with the land. VOICE is of deepest importance to me. I believe many of us have been taught to standardize our modes of expression. Writers and artists must undo this learning.
