I'm a slightly neurotic person. I tend to drive back home to see if I left the stove on. And I never cook.

I love writing/filmmaking/editing and it seems to have become my very expensive obsession. I will edit anything. Go ahead, grab a camera, shoot six hours of your cat sleeping, hand it over to me. I'll make it a 10 minute short about love, faith, and the struggles of the working class in the 1800's.

I'm engaged to the most amazing man on the planet. He's hunky, smart, and cooks (I really hope he doesn't leave the stove on). He's that guy John in my top friends.

I'd like to meet:

people who love their job. Everyone I know who loves their job is really cool.

Of celebrities: I'd say I really want to meet the Dog Whisperer's sister. I bet she's great with cats.

Of the famous people of history: Jesus. I would love for him to clarify a few points that people seem so obsessed about. Sadly, he may clarify in a way I don't like and I'll have to punch him in the face, but I'm hoping for the best. And Buddha just cuz I'd like to hear what his laugh sounds like.

Music:

I'm looking for some great female led punk bands or female led hard rock bands. Real raw stuff but musical. I haven't found much. I'm very picky. Feel free to suggest some.

Of the labeled variety: Foo Fighters, Spoon, Tom Waits, William Shatner, Cheap Trick, old Duran Duran, White Stripes, Massive Attack, Beatles

Movies:

Oldboy, Adaptation....uh...that's it. I'm picky.

Anything by PKD, Heart of Darkness, The End of Poverty. I'm currently reading Power, Sex, and Suicide (about mitochondria)

Heroes:

Harvey Pekar, Charlie Kaufman, Robert Wise, Hitchcock, anyone who looks like a geek but can somehow be termed "sexy."
