I love to listen to music and discover new songs and artists. I like to go watch the weekly movie that comes out; cause I love to rant and rave about what I thought. I am free-spirited and like to have fun and be happy. I work alot and don't have that much time for myself. So, when I do have free time, I like to make the most of it.
I am interested in meeting people that have the same outlook on life as I do. People that love to live life to it's fullest and making yourself happy. Being able to connect with each other emotionally and spirtually. I am looking forward to meeting new people and starting lasting friendships. I hope that some of my old friends find me and add me to thier list. Let's all be connected and enjoy life. Let's be remembered and make an impact!
I like many types of music. My fav's are Rock, R&B and Trance/Techno. I can handle just about anything and I am always looking to get into something new and give it a whirl.
Simply put, I like any movie that can make an impact on me and change the way I look at things in life. One of my favorite movies is The Shawshank Redemption. I also like Powder, The Green Mile, The Notebook, American History X and Crash. All these movies have made me rethink how I should look at life and the have made a great impact on me. Love, Racism, Hate, Persecution, Joy, Happiness. Trust me when I tell you; all these movies need to be watched.
X-Files is the greatest show ever put on television. Many people that I know, did not like this show at first. Though when I got them to watch it, they realized that the show had so many underlying tones on Spirituality. The show affects you on so many levels. I also like In Living Colour, Moonlighting, Martin, 24, American Idol, Tales From The Darkside and Charmed (Yes I said Charmed).
I have many, many favorite books. I like to read when I have spare time and it usually takes me awhile to finish a book, but I will always finish it. I like mostly all Stephen King books, I love autobiographies and mystery/suspense. There is this book called "Touching the Void". It is about one mans true story of survival in the face of death. It is very well written and it will make you understand one person's determination to survive.
In all actuality, I don't have really have heroes. I mostly admire someone willing to die for what they believe in and to protect what we hold dear to us. There are so many people through time that would be considered heroes. Einstien, JFK, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcom X, Nelson Mandela, etc. I believe it is just the impact they have made. So, really, If I were to chose it would be anyone that has ever made a impact on our society.
