About Me

How do you do this??? Here is my shot at trying to explain myself humbly while at the same time convincing you that I AM in fact AMAZINGLY GREAT and making you feeling your life will not be complete without having me in it!  ; )  So, I am currently fighting my way through Nursing School and I LOVE IT, but it is definitely the most challenging learning experience I have ever attempted.  I am raising three of the most PHENOMENAL human beings ever spawned along with my two, yes I said two, dads (my mother's first and second husbands) who drive me absolutely crazy most of the time but obviously love me very much in their own twisted ways. I am single for the first really significant length of time in my life and loving it! Although I am pretty fond of a certain person but life seems to be interfering for the moment... but, my motto is "where there's a will, there's a way."  Nursing school is teaching me so much about myself and making such a difference in my whole being. For instance, I have stumbled upon a new philosophy that will affect my relationships with people I already know and one's I have yet to meet. "Assumptions are a self-directed form of robbery." By this I mean that we make assumptions about people and situations everyday in our lives and those assumptions could very possibly inhibit our personal growth or the opportunity to meet a potentially very valuable friend in our lives. I don't believe that mastery of this skill is ever obtainable but the goal in life is to work "toward" perfection, right??? Anyway, just food for thought. I love life! Life is such a blessing and only God can take credit for that! I love new experiences to a fault and will take you up on the invitation almost anytime!

My Interests

I would love to learn more about wine and culinary arts. I have a horse that I love named KC, but I don't get to spend much time with him lately. I am interested in seeing everything! I love GOD, life, friends, family, vacation, learning, experiencing new things, skydiving (only once so far but I want to do it again, and again, and again), dancing (although I have to say I am not very good), reading, and I would love to learn to rock climb! I love to do anything outdoors.  I don't like to get bored so I like to keep myself occupied and active. I have an entire list of things that I want to accomplish and explore in life!

I'd like to meet:

Jesus, but that will come later.  Who would I really like to meet on earth?  I want to meet anyone and everyone with a truly sincere heart.  I would like to meet  people that are unique, fun, optimistic, adventurous, caring, honest, outgoing, spontaneous, and all around genuine. I mean really.... is that to much to ask?!?!?!?!  I want to get it touch with people that I see in my childhood memories..... unless, that is, they were not very nice and remain the same. If they WERE that way and have changed then I'd love to talk!

Music:

Road Trip, Road Trip, Road Trip!!!!!!!!! Music free's the mind!!!  There's nothing like turning up the music and just driving to relieve stress, tension, sadness, anger, and all other unpleasantries or to just have a GREAT TIME!!!  I like all different types of music, and I mean ALLLLL different types (except elevator music).

Movies:

Comedy,Classic, Romance, Horror, Musicals  I could list every movie I like but I would be here all night.  I am a movie fanatic.  There is no such thing as boredom with the movie industry around.

Television:

Not so much. No time! object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" height="320" width="426" align="middle" data="http://apps.rockyou.com/rockyou.swf?instanceid=2397511 3"

Books:

I love to read. I haven't done so in quite a while though. The whole textbook thing has kind of turned me off to it at the moment but I hope to pick the habit up again when I get out of school....

Heroes:

My hero is my grandmother.  she is the most well tempered and caring woman I have ever known.  She is 79 years old and still volunteering at a homeless shelter every month.  there aren't enough people in the world like her.  If there were the world would be a better place.
