I'm so scattered it's scary. I guess you'd call it ecclectic, maybe even eccentric but it's all for fun.
you?
oh boy here we go... first off I have a solid classic core of Janis, Dylan, Doors, Beatles, Stones, Hendrix and the like, this branches out to embrace older jazzier sounds, as well as some more recent things like Sublime, Nirvana, Cure. Then come the modern lullabies of guys like Jack Johnson and finally...my bouncing off the walls party music... y'know that crazy "electronic dance music"
Kinsey, Gattica, Trainspotting, Secretary, Falling Angels, Frailty, Princess Bride, The Last Dragon (I am the master), From Hell, Requiem for a Dream, KIDS (I can point out my boy in one of the "NASA" scenes), Party Monster, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Boondock Saints, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Salton Sea, Spun, American History X, Cool Hand Luke, Shadow of a Doubt ("I think I'll have myself a bottle of beeya" - w/ a side of ass), Quills, 8mm (o god mr. pheonix in a sex shop my o my)...more to come...
umm, I like put the news on in the AM while I'm getting ready...it's background noise...Deadwood's not bad either...I'm more of a movie kinda gal.
Go Ask Alice, Diary (thank you Robbie), The Ciderhouse Rules, Sometimes You Get So Lonely It Just Makes Sense, Stone Butch Blues (be warned: this book will HURT you), Child of God, She's Come Undone, Drawing Blood, Diary of Anais Nin, Gerald's Game (& a zillion other King things), Ray Bradbury's short stories, most of Shel Silverstein's stuff, The Bell Jar, The Mixquiahuala Letters...I'll get back to this one too...
To quote Concrete Blonde: "I don't need a hero, I don't need a soldier, I did when I was younger, but now that I'm older..."
