I'll admit I'm bored with me

About Me

My name is Natalie and my parents raised me on rap and metal.

My Interests

Anything that happens in the morning, afternoon, and night - especially what goes on while I am asleep.

I am also interested in dog walks, attending my friends parties, drinking (socially), reading as much as possible and staying away from the television (the writers' strike did me some good), playing the lottery and writing a page a day in my upcoming novel, 'Said One Bird to the Other'

I'd like to meet:

Lilliput:

Music:

Currently shuffling around on my iPod:

Air, THE AMERICAN ANALOG SET, The Appleseed Cast, The Arcade Fire, Badly Drawn Boy, Beth Orton, Big Country, THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE, BROADCAST, BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE, Camera Obscura, CSS, Circulatory System, DEF LEPPARD, Desaparecidos, Dressy Bessy, Duran Duran, Elliott Smith, Elvis Costello, Emily Haines, An Epic At Best, Feist, Fleetwood Mac, The Go Betweens, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, Hall & Oates, Headlights, Huey Lewis & The News, Human League, I Am The World Trade Center, Iggy Pop, Interpol, Iron Hero, John Parish & PJ HARVEY, Kasabian, Kings of Convenience, Kool & The Gang, Ladytron, Lali Puna, LCD Soundsystem, LUSH, Maserati, The Mercury Program, The Microphones, Mississippi John Hurt, The Moody Blues, My Bloody Valentine, Neil Young, NEW ORDER, The Ocean Blue, Of Montreal, The Organ, Pedro The Lion, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Phoenix, Phosphorescent, Portishead, Rainer Maria, The Ravonettes, REO Speedwagon, The Replacements, Rufus Wainright, Saint Etienne, She Wants Revenge, Sigur Ros, THE SMITHS, Snowden, Spandeau Ballet, Sparta, Statistics, STEREOLAB, SUEDE, THE SUNDAYS, Thompson Twins, TEARS FOR FEAR, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, TOTO, Track Eight Theory, Velocity Girl, Vostok, The Zombies, CATHERINE WHEEL, COCTEAU TWINS, Rialto, New Young Pony Club...there's just too many to list!

I also think this is one of the most beautiful music videos I have ever seen in my entire life. It's a shame most music videos aren't as artistic and in depth with their storyline as this one:

Movies:

East Of Eden, Rebel Without A Cause, Giant, Superman I and II, To Kill A Mockingbird, Lost In Translation, The Dark Chrystal, Hotel Rwanda, Raising Arizona, But I'm A Cheerleader, Loving Annabelle, Butterfly Kiss, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Fingersmith

Television:

If t.v. is considered reality, then my life is a dream.

Books:

Anything written by (or has the style of) D.H. Lawrence, John Irving, Sarah Waters, Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary.

Heroes:

We can be heroes
