About Me

I like thinking about everything and anything all day long. So I like reading, watching, and listening to things that will get me going on a nice chain of thought. I'm constantly busy doing things - which is bad -- but I have been working on trying to manage my time better and set those priorities. I love God and what Jesus did for me, so I try to mirror my life off of Jesus' - it's uber hard of course, but there is always the Bible and the Holy Spirit guiding me along. I like that a lot. I so could not go it alone. I like school a lot. Maybe too much. So when I finally graduate with a doctorate... I don't know what I will do! I love hobbies! I regularly dabble in writing, songwriting, photography, drawing, painting, crocheting, woodworking, baking/cooking, playing music, etc. I like anything I can serve others and express myself. Hmm what else? ...I don't really live in Antartica

Music:

I love listening to it, I love songwriting, and I'm decent on 9 instruments (Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Percussion, Flute, Piano, Clarinet, Oboe, Harmonica, and Recorder -- and heck yes recorder is an instrument!!! It's an amazingly awesome instrument)I listen to everything, I tend to stay away from the songs that include devil worship, references to sex and alcohol, or swear words though.

Movies:

There haven't been many movies that I haven't liked... so I'll list some genres:Action/Adventure, Comedy, Musical, and Romantic Comedy*Romantic Comedies are saved for those nights that a tub of icecream is just asking to be consumed

Television:

I like the television shows that were around when I was a kid. So I don't really watch tv anymore so I can mourn their loss properly.Although, I have been cheating on them recently with Shaq's Big Challenge, So You Think You Can Dance, On The Lot, Monk, Psyche, and Burn Notice.

Books:

Anything that doesn't make me think too hard to comprehend the words on the page.

Heroes:

T.S. Eliot, Mark Twain, Bernard Shaw, Franz Kafka, Thomas Mann, and other men with great, sexy minds
