About Me

I am Mitch. I'm a fairly average, laidback and friendly guy. The most important things in my life are my family, my friends, and music (it keeps me sane). Music is my biggest passion. I mostly listen to 70's and 80's metal and rock, although I don't think it's healthy to limit yourself. My biggest indulgence over the last few years has been taking trips to the mainland to see my favourite bands (seen 5 of them so far, woo!), which is always too much fun. What do I with my time, outside of leisure stuff, you ask? Well, I go to uni, and do a fair bit of volunteer work. I hope there's more to me than this lame description...but I dunno what else to add here, so just ask me. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>> PS: I pretty much never approve friend requests from bands I've never heard of. My friend-list is precisely for that - my friends. If there's a few bands in my list, it'd be because they're bands I like that I've added myself. So be warned! Also, if you're some random adding me simply to improve your friend-count, then piss off. I'm not interested.

Been a long time (part 1)

The title of this blog is a tasty-good Black Label Society song. It's also how long it's been since I wrote a blog. Which is a problem, because so much stuff has happened in the last nearly-3 months t...

"There'll be trouble" - East Coast trip '07

Legend

I just looked out of my kitchen window, and there was a 6 or 7 year old kid (in a Dodges Ferry Primary school uniform, no less), standing in the street with his hand high above his head, flicking some...

My revelation

It is well documented that, apart from the band 'Death', I'm really not a fan of any kind of extreme metal (death, black, slam, grind...you get the drift) - I like the singers in my music to actu...
