About Me

Hi all, name's Stephanie and I'm from Singapore. Just finished my studies, am 20 and at the crossroads of my life..u know, the part where u decide on what you want to work as, whether to go overseas and start a new life or to remain just where you are, to do this or that. Yeah I'm at that part. I love travelling, I've had the priviledge of seeing most of Europe and a couple of Asian countries. I believe humans are meant to travel, not stay in a fixed place. There's so much out there and I won't stop till I'm satiated in my constant thirst for experiencing new cultures and meeting people from all walks of life. I can get emotional sometimes, I can get philosophical. Infact, I can get alot of things. I'm a book of contradictions. I love writing, singing, swimming and reading. I hold a soft spot for animals and old people.I used to believe in God once, a long time ago. But then I suddenly realised my craving for logic. And somehow, when I put logic on par with my Catholic faith, I see that the two simply cannot co-exist. I've pressing questions which needs answering but I've grown to accept over the years the fact that for most of my questions, I'll never find answers. Today, I'm more of a spiritual person than a religious one. I truly believe that when we die one day, we're not going to be judged by the number of good deeds we achieved or by how much we stuck to our religious faiths. Rather we will be judged on that day by how we chose to live our lives, the choices we made, how we affected the lives of those around us and the amount of humanity in each of us. At the end of the day, we're all struggling with our humanities..we're all only human. If there was a God and if he truly loved us enough to create us, even He'd understand that. I've never believed in the concept of Hell. Hell simply doesn't make sense. None of us deserve ultimate suffering. Not even that murderer, psychopath or terrorist.Life really is an inward journey..we're all struggling to be perfect in our own sweet ways and it'll help if people cld stop being so harsh on each other. I love my life and who I am today - an imperfect person in a very imperfect world. And seriously, I think fairytales aren't tales at all..fairytales do exist and there's always a happy ending for everything. You just wait and see.
