G KARMA - G Karma is a product of the Ocean State (RI). Born in Providence and raised on the outskirts of the capital city, he has been writing, recording, and performing since the age of 12. He has been a member of a number of rap groups, and has graced many of the popular local venues, as well as opened up shows for platinum selling artists such as Def Jam Records Foxy Brown and Method Man, as well as Hip-Hop icon KRS-One. Karmas work is aired regularly on WRIU 90.3, the radio station for The University of Rhode Island, and he has appeared live with DJ Naughty on Southern New Englands most popular radio station Hot 106.3. G credits many established artists as being an influence on his style, yet his lyrical attack remains one of a kind. His crisp, articulate, monotone delivery has been compared to Guru; MC of the legendary Hip-Hop duo Gangstarr. Having lived a life full of ups & downs, professional jobs & street hustles, he seamlessly blends all aspects of Hip- Hop culture (street, commercial & underground) to create an original sound that is equally inviting and entertaining to fans of all Hip-Hop genres. Karma prides himself on being versatile. He regularly quotes Bruce Lees theory Be Like Water. So whether its a metaphor laced "battle rap", a heartfelt tale of personal trials and tribulations, or a socially conscious political tirade, he comes across confident and knowledgeable. After a fateful meeting with Divine Allah (MySpace.com/DivineAllah and/or MySpace.com/DivineAllahextra), while incarcerated, G Karma became a featured artist on Supreme Records. His solo debut "The Cause and Effect" is currently in the works for 2007...stay tuned!!!
