I love anything that increases my devotion to and desire for GOD!! FOOTBALL: KC Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M Football are my favorite sports passions. I'd like to become a motivational speaker within the next few years but for now, I'll stick to dominating people on the field (playing flag football) and trying to become more passionate about my walk with the Holy Spirit! Oh yeah, my favorite # is 8...and I'm extremely interested in this hottie in Longview!
As far as my bruthas go:I'm all about God, football, finding other bruthas that think David (man after God's own heart), Moses (was considered a "friend" of God and one of history's most humble men), William Wallace or Achilles is who we're all supposed to be like and pretty much anyone interested in creating breakthroughs in life. I've discovered and set my sights on achieving great purpose in life so I'm just trying to encourage and strengthen my bro's. Proverbs 27:17 says we need to sharpen each other's iron!

80's music was my teen/20's music of choice (mostly Depeche Mode .. width="425" height="350" .. , ENYA and other New Wave/Electronic/alternative bands) Over the last 10 years i started getting into Dave Matthews and Coldplay but have enjoyed Christian music finally rising musically to the level that its spiritual nature had already achieved; Michael Larson, Anthony Skinner and Ryan Farish are some of my newist musical favorites. Misty Edwards (leads worship at the KC IHOP) melts my heart every saturday at 2pm [www.ihop.org if you want to listen in]
Braveheart is the all-time winner. Fave Comedy is L.A. Story. Blade, Constantine, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, most kung fu movies (yes, i'm all boy!); I can't tell you how many Asian movies i've watched in the last few years. My new fave movie here is Tony Jaa (Ong Bak, The Protector). He has done the most incredible fight choreography EVER!! (well, Bruce Lee and Jet Li aside).
who has time for tv?
Admitted addiction to reading here...how does someone's world really grow unless they subject themselves to the wisdom and experience of another person's world? There's a famous quote that goes something like this: A fool only learns from and reflects upon his own mistakes but the wise man benefits and learns from the mistakes of others! Knowledge is king yet I also think the added blessing of WISDOM predicates itself on not only knowing facts but being able to wisely discern when and how to creatively apply that information to life. It's been said that those who do not read are no better than those who cannot. Ouch, glad I didn't come up that one, lol.
.. width="425" height="350" ..My daddy and grandpappy are the most important male heroes to me and modeled how to be great in sports, committed to excellence in work, put others' needs 1st, and honor GOD in everything. My Mom rocks cuz she would do anything for her strong-willed kids (Kelsey and I get our unflappable passion from our Dominican madre)!
Parents put aside, I do have some biblical and movie heroes...William Wallace: "they can take our lands, but they'll never take our FREEDOM!"; Achilles: "Immortality lies on that beach...take it! It's yours!"; King David because he was "a man after God's own heart"; Samson's strength came through his identity through God (Nazirite vow: the epitome of self-discipline); Enoch chose oneness with God over the temptations of this world; JESUS...His strength was displayed in His willingness to be weak (He only did as He saw the Father doing).
