About Me

You scored as One Intelectual Individual. You're a thinker. You see things from a very different prospective than the rest of the world, and probably find release and self-expression in music, painting, scalpting, or any other form of art. People see you as a deep person, full of knowledge that they don't understand. People are attracted to that, but there's a good chance you don't care.

.."He who is not busy being born is busy dying."It's time to make a change to the good 'ole "about me" section. I'd much rather be writing about a stellar musician or a unique person in history, or especially about environmental health or the latest shitty politicians... anything besides myself, really. It seems a bit selfish. However, I'll give it a go - for the second time around. I'm a very simple person. I'm not materialistic. I'm very open minded. I stick to my beliefs but I am open to everyone elses. I try not to make assumptions about anyone, for when I do I'm always in the wrong. I like to laugh! (ha ha!) I enjoy sarcasm. Seeing others happy makes me feel all warm inside! Sometimes I adore the world in which i live and at others it disgusts me. I had a pretty hard time growing up and sometimes I still don't feel that I fit into the world. I felt pretty alone growing up. At times I hadn't one person to call my friend. I was surrounded by selfishness and ignorance - so much to the point that I hated everyone. My only outlets were through music and art. To this day my passion for art and music are just as strong. Music has helped me overcome some of the lowest times in my life. For hours I can let myself become completely absorbed by the words of such great artists as Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie, Joni Mitchell and Johnny Cash... oh, the list could go on forever. I'd be lost without music. My thoughts run free as I let my ebony pencil brush against pure white paper. I've always escaped my thoughts through artwork. When I was 9 or 10 I wrote my own newspapers! I enjoy using pencil and charcoal. I've always taken to portraits but honestly any type of drawing will put me at ease. On top of art I love writing. I could write pages and pages for nights on end. When I'm not wrapped up in my own world of music and art I'm spending time with good friends. I'm always up for anything! I'm not a huge fan of the typical "club" scene so what's left for me to do in pittsburgh is go to various shows and support local bands... all while have a few too many drinks :) The nights that begin with a couple beers at 10pm and end at 7am in some odd place are the best. (kate would know what i'm talkin' about) :)- I absolutely love my friends and my family ... relationships mean more to me than anything. I love meeting new people. The more, the merrier! I would do anything for anyone at any time. This is especially true for my family. They're always there for me when I need them. Ohhh what else to talk about? I LOVE LOVE the flaming lips... I know I need to cut my hair but I refuse... and I'm going to get up and dance around the room in my chucks like a crazyperson as BTR blasts outta the speakers! Any takers to join me???

Television:

Television is something I rarely watch, mainly due to the fact that I am busy doing something more interesting. If that is not the case, I manage to find something more interesting to do than watch a meaningless television show that is filled with nonsense and gossip. However, when I say rarely, I do mean that I watch The Office, and at times, The Family Guy... or Konan late at night when I cannot sleep. The new hip show is Ugly Betty, which I must admit, I like. I didn't think that I would because it involves the nonsensical world of fashion and models but its sarcasm is something I can take. During football season, obviously, I watch football... and a special someone has started to get me hooked on baseball (not because of the pirates)

The Stranger. The Bell Jar. East of Eden. The Celestine Prohpecy. The 10th Insight. Stephen King Books. To Kill a Mockingbird. Jane Eyre. Down the Highway: The Life of Bob Dylan. Encounters with Bob Dylan. Behind the Shades: Revisited (Bob Dylan).
