My sweetie pie!
Music, Art, Movies, Traveling, Camping, Hiking, Photography, Romance, all the typical good stuff....
I have seen what makes this world such a beautiful place and my heart is filled with the memories of these photos....Most of these hikes were spontaneously planned. So here are some of the gifts that I have had the pleasure of witnessing....ENJOY!
(I took all of these pictures on my trusty Sony f717 cybershot)
Bodega Head trail.
Taking a walk along Santa Rosa Creek. West County.
One of my favorite hikes. Mt. Diablo in the winter.
Redwood Grove off the Pomo trail. Jenner, Ca.
Hiked in 5 miles to see this beauty. Near Russian Gulch.
This butterfly stopped to pose! No Joke!
Silver Lake.....In the Sierras.
This is a hidden paradise in Greece. We spent the whole day swimming in the nude......
I admired this scene for over 45 mins before I took the picture. Hood Mountain, Santa Rosa.
One of the most relaxing evenings of my life.......A sunset behind beach grass
A little runoff on the side of the road near the Geysers.
Mid-winter hike near McClure beach, Tomales.
Ahh.....The whisper of Austin Creek near Cazadero. I laid on my back for an hour just listening in the rain.
Stumbled upon this cabin hiking in the Sierras.
Behind some church on Fulton Rd.
My life stopped and I saw the heart of beauty! Costa Rican sunset.
Beach yellows near Fort Bragg, Ca.
Mt. St. Helena was covered in snow and there was a full moon on the hike back. No flashlights needed! This hike changed the core of my being forever. I could have died that day and not cared.
Last day in Costa Rica. Taken from the balcony of the hotel.
Coastal headstones
Napa Bothe state park...... Ever wonder what spirits lie in the forest? This place is pretty intense! Be prepared, it's a natural wonder!
I was walking alone in France and stumbled into this rose garden. This garden was about a square block in size....
Rain Forest at the base of Arenal Volcano...
This was one of the first pictures I took with my "Sony" sidekick....What an evening! I could swear Goat Rock was calling me off the couch and sure enough, this is what I got.
When I was taking this picture I made an unsuspecting friend....A chipmunk, that stood about 2 ft from me for over 20 mins.
Music is the language of the Gods. Any life situation is better with a theme song, don't ya think. Music is my life blood so I can't even begin to list the bands that drive with me through life. I basically like anything from horns to strings and everything in between.
I am a huge David Lynch and Sam Peckenpah fan. So some of my favorites are Blue Velvet, Mulholland DR, The Wildbunch and Strawdogs. Others include... Reservoir Dogs (of course), Memento, Requiem for a dream, Pi, Sin City, The last temptation of Christ, Gangs of New York, Lord of the Rings trilogy, any documentary, most horror films. Attack of the killer boobies...LOL, Selected porn flicks on those special occasions when I am feeling sad and lonely. Ok and a selected few chick flicks. I have to admit there are a few, like Love Actually and Sweet Home Alabama.
To be honest, I usually turn it to the "Sirius" satellite music channels. There are over 100 different types of music to listen to.
See spot run, Clifford, any of the Barney book series.
The difference betwee a coward and a hero. They both feel the same fear, but a hero faces it and moves on. The coward distracts himself.
