About Me

I'm a mom to an awesome little girl that is also my best friend, and the coolest person I know! I like music, reading, tattoos, concerts, movies, and hanging out with my friends. I like the smell of coconutty suntan lotion, vanilla, and christmas time. I think it's so funny when people have a slight creepy side- I mean, if you can't joke about stalking, are you really having any fun? I have found my female AND male soulmate already, but before them, I never knew 'soulmates' existed. I have a different sense of humour, that not everybody gets. I can make myself laugh, even if I'm all alone. My favorite things are intelligence, and a quirky/fantastic sense of humour. I like quick wit, clean socks, and sarcastic banter, and especially my independance.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet friends..people who are smart, make me think, dorky, funny, smiley, harsh (but not psycho)...people that have different ways of thinking, complex, simplistic. There will never be anything more attractive, than intelligence....anyone who thinks I might be of some interest actually...lets get talking- I'm good for it. Oh, and I fell in love with Jack Black in the movie 'The Holidays'.

Music:

mostly anything..punk, rock, alternative, folk, blues, emo...and yes folks, even some country. Bands I love are: Tegan and Sara, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Jack Johnson, Taking Back Sunday, Xavier Rudd, Dashboard Confessional, Jeff Buckley, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Matisyahu, The Killers, The Shins, My Chemical Romance, Alexis, Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, Sia, The Alkaline Trio, Stereophonics, Imogen Heap, MoZella, Chris Holmes, Catherine Feeny, Black Maria, Brandtson, The Get Up Kids, AFI, Billy Talent, Hit the Lights, Razorlight, City and Colour.....theres nothing that I will refuse to listen to. And if its live, I'm there.

Movies:

Movies I LOVE: Seven, Brokeback Mountain, 50 First Dates, Love Actually, Garden State, Spanglish, Whale Rider, Things To Do, Mozart and the Whale, Dreamland...lots more...I like film festival movies....or just any movie actually... I guess I'm what you'd call a movie buff.
