The long hard road of Methodical Breed is paved with hard work and dedication. Methodical Breed represents and is its own genre (780) Metal core. This five piece Sherwood Park, Alberta juggernaut of sound joined forces in 2003. Four of the five started together as degenerates, working, learning and forming music. After a lengthy but temporary split they rejoined and found the final missing piece, vocalist and front man Art Szabo. Art and Jeff worked together in a previous project (Epoch) during the vacant years.
Since then Methodical Breed has toured Western Canada extensively, Won first place in Rock fight 2005 at Festival Place in Sherwood Park (used the winnings to pay for part of their debut full length CD Entitled Outbreak), Western finalist in Supernova.com's Western Canadian Band on the run Contest (beating out 200 bands of every genre you can think of)
Some of the bands weve had the pleasure to play with and learn from are:3 inches of Blood (Roadrunner records), Misery Signals (ferret Music), Darkest Hour (Victory records), Savannah (Stone City management NY), Angel Grinder (Vancouver, BC)
Broken Nose (Edmonton, AB), Rise in the Fall (vancouver, BC), Time is the Enemy (L.A.,Cal),Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cheap Trick, Steppenwolf (as part of Rock n Ride 2006 in Kelowna BC @ the Bluffs) Methodical Breed takes pride in the fact that they look at every aspect of this business with the same feelings, effort and determination to learn as much as they can to better themselves. From their active, energetic often insane stage presence to being involved directly with the business part of being in a band, good or bad.... Its for life.
