Nigel

Probably the 8th best band in Arizona

About Me

Spread the love like peanut butter and post our banner. (Hit F5 to refresh for any new changes.)
About Nigel
Nigel is an indie, power pop, alternative, rock, band from Scottsdale, Arizona. On any given day, we are probably the 8th best band in Arizona. We don't brag about it, but we're sort of a big deal.
Nigel started as friends jamming in a band room in 2003. We recorded "Songs About Things" in March and April of 2004. Our first show was in May of 2004. Unlike most bands, Nigel plays concerts very infrequently. This is by our own choice. We don't want you to get bored with us, and we don't want shows to become so routine that we don't all get nervous and puke in the bathroom before we go on.
We recorded a 6-song self-titled EP in April 2006 at The Panic Button . You can buy the EP at our shows and online as soon as it gets uploaded to iTunes.
Our sets are mostly originals, but we really like doing cool, off the beaten path covers. We used to close every show with "Tyler" from the Toadies. We've also done "On a plain" by Nirvana, "Overkill" by Men at Work, "Hummer" by Smashing Pumpkins, and "Hey Johnny Park!" by Foo Fighters.
Come out and see us play soon! You never know if and when Nigel will play again.
Love, Nigel
