About Me

Eric, from Chicopee MA. People call me "Chicopee" I guess it just seems to stick. There's not much to it, but it's home. After graduating from high school in 2004, I've pretty much just done the work thing. I'm working at a bank right now, which seems to be going really well, and I'm taking classes at HCC to keep the brain going. I'm mainly focusing on business/finance. I am really into music, so ultimately Music Business behind the scenes stuff would be fun to get into, but we'll see. Aside from the 9-5, I just like to enjoy life and the people around me. I love my friends, I have a great group who would do anything for me, and I wouldn't trade them for the world. I love going to the beach (hate the winter), going out drinking and gettin a little crazy with friends, and the gym. I love staying in, renting movies, sleeping late, and being outrageous. I'm a good guy and like to think that I have a good sense of humor, but I can definitely be sarcastic. On the other hand, I can sometimes take things too seriously and over think a lot of things, which is probably one of my flaws. I just like to live in the moment. You have to remember- "Don't compromise yourself, you're all you've got." Everything happens for a reason. Fate will only take you so far, and then it's up to you to decide what you want to do with it. Do the next right thing.

Anyone, New friends, Cool people. Other than that, some famous people would be nice to add to the list too. In general, just people I can get along well with. People who aren't annoying or fake. If you're a bastard, embrace it. Don't be sneaky and pretend you aren't one because it saves a lot of time and energy by showing your true colors right away. If you happen to be genuine, that's even better because the world can use more of you. :)

Books:

Augusten Burroughs: Running With Scissors, Seamus Heaney: Beowulf, Sylvia Browne: The Other Side And Back (pretty interesting #1 New York Times Best Seller, 2000). I don't really read unless it's necessary, or if I'm really interested in the topic.
