About Me

I'm 28 years old from the Southside of Chicago. I'm a rap artist that loves to write and be creative. I started writing and preforming at age 13. In order to learn the ropes, for 3 years I attended Columbia College with a focus in Music Business. School taught me a lot, but there is nothing like hands on experience. In 1999, I joined S.A.W Soidierz At War, a group well known for wearing orange and black colors and our hardcore millitary style. Together, our album sold more than 100,000 copies on the street and in stores in Chi town alone. Together, we dropped 4 albums featuring artists' such as Chuck "D" of Public Enemy and Big Ed (RIP) of No Limit Records, both featured on our debut album. Other talented artist from the Chi featured on our second album include Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Triple Darkness, Newsence of Psychodrama, and so many others. We even had a Soldierz At War store on the Westside of Chicago for many years where we helped to promote not just our own music but other local artists as well. In 2002, for both business/personal reasons I decided to explore the idea of being a solo artist. With the ups and downs of life, it has been a while but I'm back. With the knowlege of the past and promise of the future, I have once again begun to write lyrics and tie them to hot tracks. As 2007 comes to an end, I look forward to dropping my first single as a solo artist in 2008, which will be produced by DJ Q-Ball of Crucial Conflict. I will bring hot lyrics and original beats to the streets so get ready. Once known and recognized as Black Majik, I have now taken on the name "The Black Kadafi." So relax and prepare to enter the world of Kadafi where I give no mercy and have no pity. Get ready to explore to my world as I prepare to drop the bomb
