Music, the environment, beer, laughter, darts, being outdoors, kayaking, and good friendsAnd of course, my favorite reason to travel: the Dave Matthews Band "Seek Up" Dave Matthews Band at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Morrison, CO - Night 2 September 9-12, 2005 An AMAZING weekend and my favorite DMB experience for 2005From my 3rd row seat: The Tragically Hip "Ahead By A Century"- 06.21.06 Empire Theatre Fan Show, Belleville, ON The only other band I'll travel for other than DMB. And they're worth every mile as well. The Tragically Hip "Long Time Running"- 06.21.06 Empire Theatre Fan Show, Belleville, ON A great night, awesome seats, great set, all at a nice small venue. Good good times.
Anyone kind, fun, and able to show me something new.
Like Mr. Marley says: "One good thing about music.... when it hits you feel no pain".Any live music is good music (usually).Favorites are: DMB (always first, and who wants to roadtrip?!), The Tragically Hip (a damn close second), Incubus, Pearl Jam, Sevendust, Foo Fighters.(I also have to mention a friend's band, which is also my favorite "local" band: Merit. They kick ass, write/perform their own material, have mucho potential, and their lead vocalist has a voice that is amazing. Check them out at " www.myspace.com/merit ". If you are in the Syracuse region too, go see a show, buy a CD, to a funky jig or something!)I guess I like a wide range of music. I'm a lover of Jazz. My Virginia roots also make me a closet fan of some bluegrass. A good symphony live is something to really experience. Combine different styles into something new, and I'm usually very interested in hearing it.
Current favorites:Big Lebowski of course: The DudeOffice Space, Napoleon Dynamite, A Charlie Brown Kwanza , Friday, and many others that don't come to mind right now.
can often kill brain cells. Network TV sucks the giant monkey nut. Thank God for cable to offer some intelligent options.
