I am here for Friends

About Me

Not much. I'm married to the most wonderful person in the world, we're best friends and we get to be complete dorks together all the time. I'm also a tattoo artist and body piercer, me and two of my friends own Ink. in Superior, WI, just across the street from The Androy. I love music, but not most of the stuff people are writing today. I'm also a musician in a few different bands, Words to a Film Score, The Farewell Tour/Horse and Rider, and Cars & Trucks, there are times you may see me do a 20 minute bass solo for Man Heat!! I've been playing bass since I was 8 or 9 years old, and guitar since I was 14, I'm not sure which I enjoy more, bass is defenitly easier for me. I have no patience for intolerence, I can't stand people who use the word "Gay" or "Retarded" to describe everyday things, and it seems that alot of the kids growing up these days find it completely acceptible to call someone a "fag" or "gay" or "retarded". Most of the time I'm pretty happy and never really let down. I can usually find good in anybody or anything, you'll live a hell of a lot easier if you don't stress about everything, I think you'll live longer too. I love my friends and family, and I try hanging out with them as much as i can.RELIGION: As far as religion goes, I grew up Catholic, my grandfather was a Baptist minister. Growing up I went to my neighbors' churches, Baptist and Evangelical. I'm not one for religion, I understand why people go to church, and I understand why people believe in a god, but it's not for me. I put more faith in my friends, family, and myself, rather than putting it up to a god. When I did go to church I attended because of a fear of what might come after we die, I kept going to church, even when I stopped believing in a god, for that sense of community. If people need to believe in a god, or go to church to make themselves feel better, that's fine with me. I start having a problem when a belief in a god, or someone's religious beliefs, starts affecting the way our country is run. I've met far too many christians that preach one thing and do another, following one part of the bible literally, then disregard other parts. Religion doesn't bring us together, it pulls us apart.
