Jon Montgomery has accomplished much in his life through the force of his creativity. He has been singing, writing and touring since the age of 12. ( The Apollo Theater, Palisades Park big stage ) He has been a vocalist/writer for Sparrow, Breakwater, The legendary " Street Punk ", Mistress, Perfect Stranger, China Blue, LeMans, The Jon Montgomery Group and many more. He has sung and toured with Billy Squire, Mick Jones, Ricky Byrd, Todd Rundgren, Kiss, The Doors, Bette Midler and Johnny Winter to name a few. He has written for Kiss, Billy Cross, CBS, ARISTA, CHAPPELL, FAMOUS MUSIC, MERCY and KATYA.
Jon wrote the Book, and co-wrote the songs to HELL'S KITCHEN THE MUSICAL, and is working on his new musical THE MIRACLE AGE with Dave Gross.
Jon has also written the films IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT, and THE KING OF 42ND STREET. Both art attached to big producers, and are in the process of being funded.
Jon also wrote, directed and produced the sold out run of his play " THE EDGE " to standing ovations and great reviews.
He stays busy writing the new musical, producing, writing, mixing and mastering in his own recording studio.
