I have a lot of interests; music, movies, books, travel, food. All of the really good important aspects of life.
There is no one in particular I have to meet. I am content to meet friends. I am more interested in what kind of conversations I can have than who I have them with.
I mostly listen to 90's grunge, heavy metal, and trance.
I love movies, as long as they are not cheesy chick flicks I am fine. I love horror, drama, science fiction, action, and comedy the most. Wait, that seems to be most all movies doesn't it?
I do not watch a lot of television. There really is not anything that interests me. I watch the news of course, but otherwise I just tend to leave the boob tube off.
I read a lot of books. I love books! Some of my favorite authors are Poppy Z. Brite (Old school gothic horror novels.), Laurel K. Hamilton, Kelley Armstrong, Anne McCaffery, Elizabeth Moon, Michael A. Stackpole, Anne Rice (A few novels, and not for the vampires mind you.)If I remember the others I'll jot them down.
A hero is not a single person. A hero is not a brave and couragous act of saving a child from a fire. A hero is not a soldier who fights for freedom. A hero is not someone to praise. A hero is someone, an everyday person, who wakes up every morning and does what is right. A hero is someone who says a kind word to someone else. Saving people is a responsibility we all have. I would not and have not stood by and just watched a fire. A hero should not be worshipped, but appreciated. Your mother is a hero, your father, your teacher, your sibling, your child. You are a hero. We all are capable of the most angelic and the most heinous of acts. A hero CHOOSES the right thing to do.
