About Me

I was born in Chicago on March 23, 1980. I grew up in a suburb on the Southside of Chicago. From the age of 6, I have been involved in Martial Arts in some capacity. I have studied everything from Judo and Kung - Fu to Jeet Kune Do and Jiu-Jitsu. I have been blessed to have had so many great teachers in my life. My Uncle (now Mayor) Dean first fueled my fire and passion for the arts. My very good friend Shawn Terrance helped focus and inspire my training (remember the carpet days!!!). Joe Goytia played the most prominent role in developing me. He has worn many hats over the past 10 years, I am proud to call him not just a teach but also a friend. Eddie Bravo for consistently kicking my ass and motivating me to train harder and getbetter. 2002 was the year I decided to pursue acting full time. I enrolled in some local Chicago classes (Second City, Act One) and then made the leap to New York to further study my "craft". After 1 1/2 years in the big apple I moved to Los Angeles (via a 6 month layover in AZ to visit my brother John) where I currently reside.My work life is a balance of Actor/Fighter/Entrepreneur.

My Interests

My interest range from Ultimate Fighting to Mozart and everything in between. Wanna know the specifics? Ask.

I'd like to meet:

I love to meet people that stimulate the mind. I believe that you can learn from almost anyone. On a more specific note, I'd like to meet fighters, as I travel and train often. People in the acting community and native Chicagoians (is that correct?)

Music:

Jay-z, Lincoln Park, The Neptunes, Frank Sinatra, Led Zepplin, Justin Timberlake (yeah...I said JT...so ..lol) Usher, Aerosmith, Tim Mcgraw . Mostly top 40 and Hip-Hop, on a daily bases.

Movies:

Fight Club, Gladiator, Sleepless in Seatle (j/k). Fast and the Furious, Titanic, Braveheart, any guy flick.

Television:

Family Guy...I'm addicted.

Books:

I'll go with author I like: Donald Trump, Robert Kyosaki, David Sedaris, Dan Brown, Zig Ziglar, Dale Carnegy, Tony Robbins.I love to read. I endeavor to read a book a week (it usally end up being every 2 weeks) I am currently reading my Real Estate Principals book as I am getting into real estate investing.

Heroes:

Mom, she has to go first. She worked 2 jobs to give me the opportuinities she believed I deserved in life. Dad for teaching me all the "colorful" stuff and for making every moment, no matter how short, memorable.My Uncle Dean for being a mentor both in my personal and Martial Arts life.Other notable influences: John F Kennedy (Sr and Jr) Shawn Terrence, Joe Goytia, My brother John, and myself...if you can'tsee a hero inside of you, how can you be one for someone else?
