The bare bare bare basics:
Acting. Ancient history. Drawing. Films. GOOD music. Bellydance. Reading (CONSTANTLY). Fantasy, sci-fi, other nerdy pursuits. World of Warcraft. And, of course, the wonderful people in my life.
And oh god, speak intellectually to me.
Please.
Please.

People with brains. These are rare.
Many types. Classic rock, classical, Celtic, Middle Eastern, Indian, eighties, anything interesting and out of the ordinary... rarely anything in the past decade, but now and then I catch a few I like. Some bands and singers I like are listed in my giant interests list above. Oh, and generally if it's rap/hip-hop or uses stupid abbreviations in the song title, I'll freakin' despise it.
Too many to mention, so I'll list what's on my DVD shelf right in front of me.
Keep in mind this doesn't include the two drawerfuls of VHS films and crazy collection of illegally downloaded, but planned-to-be-purchased films...
Let's see...

Good gods, how does one who has been a bookworm for 19 years list her favourite books? Mostly fantasy and historical fiction, though plenty of actual historical reference books as I'm a wannabe historian/archeoanthropologist... Stuff like the The Mummu Congress, the Song of Ice and Fire series, LotR trilogy, Harry Potter, Clan of the Cavebear, Good Omens, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Mists of Avalon, Everyday Life in New Kingdom Egypt, Wheel of Time, Song of Ice and Fire, A Handbook to Everyday Life in Ancient Egypt, Mass and Elite in Democratic Athens, Aristophanes' complete works, complete works of Shakespeare, complete works of Oscar Wilde, human sexuality books-- analyzing the history of sex and its impact on society, etc. etc. etc.
My Brother and my parents.
Great actors, authors, and archaeologists. Dr. Zahi Hawass. Johnny Depp. Jessica Lange. Dustin Hoffman. Catherine Zeta-Jones. Christian Bale. Rachel McAdams. Susan Sarandon. Terry Pratchett. George R.R. Martin. Neil Gaiman. Anyone who took part in LotR. Just... so many people.
