I enjoy the spirit of youth today! Since I have been ministering in the Metro Atlanta area to gay, bi, lesbian, and str8 youth (off and on) over the last 30 years in Georgia, I have seen my ups and downs. But one thing for certain, you guys always inspire and motivate me to be the best I can to give back! All of you make me feel 30 years younger. I thank God for those of you who have been friendly to me out in our community. By meeting others, I learn of others who are less fortunate, and the mission starts all over again. who God favored as a young lad and in death...Jesus' "earthly heritage" went directly back to David (Joseph was born of the lineage of David).
Jonathan, the son of Saul,

JONATHAN AND DAVID were two young men so much in love that Jonathan had to have his page shoot an arrow in the sky to let David know that it was safe to meet in the high grasses out of view from the palace. While the page stood watch, David and Jonathan would disrobe all the way down to their girdles (jock straps), hug,kiss, and declare their love for one another...(I Samuel). I was taught that it was a custom of that day for men to kiss and hug each other...got news for them...it still is the custom!! lol
Later in their life, when Jonathan and his Father, Saul, died in battle, David gave a lamentation to both of them. The one to Jonathan went something like this... something like, "Thou Jonathan...the love I had for you far exceeded the love I ever had for any woman." (II Samuel)
I was taught in Sunday School that was "Christian love". Well to tell you the truth, I never observed any members of my church disrobe down to their jock straps, kiss and hug and then declare that the love between them exceeded the love they got from their wives!!
