An armful of kitty stops the day being shitty

About Me

I like to think of myself as a musician, bandname Architec. Ive a thing for books, particularly old second-hand ones, Science Fiction please, or at least i did until i got my new PDA on which i tend to read everything now. I miss the paper sometimes. Im a bit of a film nerd too i suppose. Ive got more music than i could ever possibly listen to.
I dont see many people around here at all cause i live in the middle of a field here in Northern Ireland, more or less. I have milked cows and hypnotised chickens in my lifetime and had sushi once which i would like to try again soon but without the feckin evil wasabi! My thingy over to the left there says im from Carlow but thats just because apparently Northern Ireland isnt a country in myspaceland it seems. Twats. I have been to toronto twice and will go again indeedydo.
Ive had a couple of remixes released for the bands Neikka RPM and Hungry Lucy but i appear to have lost my mojo recently. I like to learn new things but im terrified of change.
I used to have 18 cats but now have 2.
Also id like to note that Science Fiction is not silly and nor is it star wars - thats sci-fi, a very different thing, at least i like to think so.
One last thing, if yer talking to me and i say crimbo, it means christmas ok, if one more person asks me what crimbo means ill blow a wee gasket!!Love is fine
But you can't hold it like a ...

My Interests

Bit of a media-whore i suppose. I love music and film to a possibly unhealthy degree tho its getting less and less so. Im quite passionate about Science Fiction and will defend it with a big stick. I cant stand the treatment it gets at the hands of a dumbed up, cliched and uneducated media who believe that SF has crap and if some SF comes along that isnt crap its therefore not SF anymore - a good example being, "its not really sf, they made it a drama first" GAW!!. Also dabble a bit too much in comics because i can. Bit of a tech head i suppose althought there are many alot more techier than myself.I like nothing better than to snuggle into bed with a hot choccy and sip it with a spoon at first and read but i hate falling asleep 10 minutes later. Im interested in emigrating to Toronto some day.

I'd like to meet:

Someone with similarish interests whos reasonably mature and not fucking insane and who can be silly when its required (which lets face it is quite often).

So is it Smilla's Feeling for Snow or Smilla's Sense of Snow?I cant express how unappealing the title 'sense of' is to me.
