Myspace LayoutsI am a happily married mother of two. My husband is my rock and my best friend and my kids are pretty spectacular. My family and friends are my life! My passion is music. I don't play an instrument or anything I just truly enjoy losing myself in a great song. I find music to be truly inspiring and spiritual. I love going to concerts/shows whenever a good band is in the area and I especially love multi-band festivals where I can see all my favorite bands in one arena. My other passion is decor & design. I work as an event designer, which means I have the fun (& headaches) of planning & designing weddings, celebrations and parties of every kind. I LOVE my job! I don't always love my clients but I can't imagine doing anything else. Even on my worst day, it's better than selling insurance!!! hahaha I adore being able to help people celebrate the joyous times in their lives and I especially love being able to make a bride's dream wedding come to life. I like "real" people and I hate BS and drama. Drama is for people with boring lives. I am a vegetarian and a bit of an animal rights activist (at least in my heart). I don't wear leather and I don't endorse products tested on animals. I also don't support the diamond industry due to the cruel treatment of those working/living in the mining camps. I am by no means a tree hugger I just have certain issues that I strongly believe in. I do not try to press my views upon others. I think that one of God's greatest gifts is the ability to be a free thinker and I respect people for their thoughts and beliefs even when they differ from mine. Music:

Alternative and punk are my main loves but I love all kinds of music. Indy, blues, dirty rock, accoustic, chicks who know how to blow it out of the water or even some good old fashioned classic rock. I love good movie soundtracks. A soundtrack can make or break an entire movie. My Husband: He is the most honest and true man that I have ever known. He is kind and loving and a force to be reckoned with all at the same time. He sticks to his guns even when it's not the popular or easy decision and he never makes excuses for his beliefs. Nothing comes before God or his family (not even himself) and I feel blessed that he has chosen to include me as a part of that select group. I have always believed that "A man is only as good as his word" -I have never been disappointed.

***********************************************My Mom: a 23 year stay at home child bride and mother of a 3 year old- suddenly widowed & thrust out into the world one day to make it on her own- and she did- and she brought me along for the journey. She proved to me that I can do anything that I set my mind to and that struggling isn't always the worst thing that can happen to you. I love you Mom!
