I DON'T WATCH TELEVISION SO...........A LITTLE MORE INFO ABOUT ME...WHAT AM I MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT? I am a Fireman/Paramedic. I am extremely passionate about making people feel comfortable. I have found my "lot in life" and that drives me to help those in emotional or physical need. I am not a rescuer of those who do not want to help themselves. I am someone who just happens to be there or be the person who is not afraid to put himself in harms way to help those who are less fortunate or those who cannot help themselves.----------------WHAT ARE THE THREE THINGS THAT I AM MOST THANKFUL FOR? 1. My health 2. My career 3. My experiences----------------]HOW DO I TYPICALLY SPEND MY LEISURE TIME? [I usually spend my leisure time on making soap, bath salts, sugar scrubs, tanning oil and candles. Making furniture or furnishings, painting or shopping for things to make my home more entertaining for friends and myself. I also spend alot of time with my two Old English Mastiffs, Timber & Aspen.--------]WHAT WAS THE LAST BOOK I READ AND ENJOYED, WHAT IT WAS ABOUT AND WHAT DID I ENJOY MOST ABOUT IT? "THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE", by Rick Warren. It is more of a spiritual self-help guide. This book helped me the most by encouraging me to continue helping and serving others, despite all that may have disappointed me in the past. I also read "101 THINGS THAT I WISH I KNEW BEFORE I GOT MARRIED", by Linda and Charles Bloom. Yeah, that would have been helpful a few years ago. Oh yeah, I'm now supposed to read, "NEW HOPE FOR PEOPLE WITH BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER", by Neil R. Bockian PhD. I'll tell you how that goes. :)----------------]
"101 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Got Married" (GEEZ, I cannot tell you how much, reading that book BEFORE I got married, and then again, before I was divorced, would have saved me.) "Come my friends, 'tis not too late to seek a newer world. Push off, and sitting well in order, smite the sounding furrows... For my purpose hold to sail beyond the sunset 'til I die." Alfred Tennyson, poet.
MY FATHER, (MAY 10, 1942 - MAY 14, 2005), CPO. NEIL A. JONES - USNavy Retired. MAY HE FOREVER REST IN PEACE. My father died with $2 dollars in his pocket. I have those laminated in my pocket, so that I may die with atleast the same. My dad gave every single bit he had away to his family and friends. He never needed much for himself. He always had high aspirations, but due to life circumstances, he just couldn't quite seal-the-deal. I admired his relentlessness in trying. He never gave up, and never faulted on his word. Some viewed him as weak. All I have to say is "DO NOT MISTAKE KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS"!!! I LOVE YOU DAD.
