My Interests

I love my family and my friends. I am really trying to focus on Kayla this year so that she has an AWESOME fifth grade and so far she has been very happy and eager to learn. Jordan is amazing me daily with his little antics. James is still James :) He is the one and only...who woulda thunk it 20+ years ago?

I'd like to meet:

I am into people that say what they mean and mean what they say. I have been known to be a procrastinator and often a "late" person but I have improved quite a bit since the birth of Jordan which seems really odd to me. I guess the fact that I work better under pressure came shining through. With two children you have double the stress of getting ready to go anywhere and maybe that made me more productive?

Music:

I like country, rap, old school rap, 80's, alternative, all sorts of rock, some pop music - not in any particular order. I change the song on here quite a bit. I am working on a "player" and maybe that will be a better choice...who knows?

Movies:

As with music, I really like quite a few different movies. My favorite will probably always be some goofy comedy that someone else says sucked. I dunno why but I can find humor in every day things. Television:

Well here I am with a lot of stuff I "like" to watch yet the television is no longer one of the things I am able to enjoy. I find myself working quite a bit :(I like catching some light-hearted show like Sanford and Son or maybe even an episode of Friends or Will & Grace. I can't believe they cancelled these two :(I will always have a soft spot for Andy Griffith and all of his works, I like Matlock. He is like an older Columbo and maybe not AS annoying as Columbo seems to be when he questions the killer. I have really missed not seeing him .. does he come on anymore? Anyway...that's enough about that.

Books:

John Grisham, Scott Turow, J.K. Rowling, Terry Goodkind, and now Robert Jordan

Heroes:

My two children are my biggest heroes. Yeah that may sound corny but to have me as a mother and actually seem sane..they gotta be awesome! My mother for showing me that you can simply do anything you want to - just have to try. My mother-in-law - I swear I have never seen anyone with such conviction when she tries something!! Of course, my husband, because he has such WONDERFUL taste ;) .. love ya baby....
