Rachel West aka Lady Ether is a strong woman. At the shocking age of 20, Rachel is far beyond her years. With outstanding communication skills, Rachel can discourse strongly about P. Diddy or Politics. At the age of five, Rachel got her first taste of the spotlight. She performed and won a talent show at The University of Missouri- STL. Rachel began writing songs and her first "book" at the age of eight. Also, at the age of eight, Rachel was introduced to acting by Tony West (Fox Sports, Dateline). Rachel received her first paycheck for her speaking roles in eight children educational videos. While attending a popular skating rink, Saints, Rachel used to hold in down for the females rappers as a pint sized MC. Rachel was fueled to rapping to release anger, after her drug dealing brother was murdered by a trigger-happy cop.At the age of 14, Rachel joined 100.3 the beat for an internship. Rachel was schooled for two years by the late Stef Boog, a promoter. Stef believed that Rachel was a natural and "the future" in the entertainment and business industry. Stef took Rachel under her wing taught her the dark side of radio and music. Rachel helped promote major sold out concerts ( Scream Tour,etc.), artist( Jacki-o), parties; fitting in at the age of 14. As a freshman in high school, Rachel was the only female rapping in a circle of guys during lunch daily. At the age of 15, a model scout convinced Rachel to join their agency. Rachel has done over 20 fashion shows, including Bridal and two major retails, Cache, Debs. Rachel missed 62 days of school, and realized she didn’t want to be a “high school dropout”. So she made a list of goals, and completed everything on it and more. Rachel kept over a 3.6 GPA her junior and senior year, also become Vice-President of the Diversity Club, and organizing school wide several Hurricane Katrina drives. In January 2006 Rachel was rushed to the ER, fighting for her life. Rachel’s appendix was about to explode.After spending 28 days in the hospital, Rachel re-evaluated her life. No longer did she want to become a dentist, which was the easy route because she knew she could complete the requirements. Rachel began writing her debut album in summer of 2007; Check your Mental. Rachel has built endurance over 15 years as a star left-handed athlete in softball, soccer, tennis and basketball. Faced with many challenges’, Rachel understand God’s mission. “Creatures are in this galaxy to teach, to learn, to inspire says Rachel”. Check your mental, will make people stop and think about themselves and their choices. You can shake your ass to some other records, but life is not a 24/7 365 day party.
