About Me

Socially timid but highly ambitious. Battling with self confidence issues but it's a battle I know I'll win. I'm not totally sorted, but I'm not a complete headcase either. One day I'll change the world. Desbelieve me if you want, it only gives me more to prove.
I work at my local district council licensing alcohol, entertainment, body piercing and tattoists, sex shops, gambling, events, festivals... basically, you aren't allowed to have fun without my permission.
I'm into all sorts of obscure music, and when I get my act together, I'd love to be a musician. I'm very friendly and love to have a good laugh, even though my photos make me look devoid of human emotion (oops, I'm lovely really). Friends and family are very important to me, as they've been the only reliable support through some pretty rough times.
I can be a bit of a geek at times, but I try to keep it under control XD I'm also into politics... I love a good election, me ^_^

My Interests

I like music, a lot! XD Listening to it, playing it, talking about it... it's all good. I especially love it when musicians find a new and interesting way to do things, I tend not to like music that doesn't sound any different from other stuff and that isn't that creative. Chart music bores the crap out of me 99% of the time.

I also really like human nature, and poking fun at it. Hence obsessions with Battle Royale, And Then There Were None, and generally anything where people get stranded on an island (like Lost or Latitude Zero)

There's also a randomly philosophical side to me, and I really like String Theory and the nature of reality and existence. It's teh fun!

Languages is another of my interest, with Russian and Japanese being the main loves, though I never say no to a nice bit of German ^^ I love phonetics and alphabetics too... [/dork]
