Music (especially electronic), film, physics, and conspiracy theories.
I'd like to meet:
George Carlin, Richard Dawkins, Michio Kaku, Christopher Hitchins, Michael Behe, Ken Miller, Deepak Chopra, Michael Parenti, Alex Jones, David Icke, and anyone else who finds these people fascinating and/or knows any of the apparent contradictions between them.
Music:
I like a lot of electronic music, but especially Goa, darkwave, industrial, and EBM.
My favorite bands are: Apoptygma Berzerk, VNV Nation, Covenant, Erasure, Depeche Mode, KieTheVez, Beborn Beton, De/Vision, SYlver, Milk Inc, and Front 242.I like to write electronic music and meld it stylistically with styles that would seem definitively un-electronic.
Movies:
Having been a manager of a movie theater, I'm very well versed in film lore. I guess I'm most impressed by Terry Gilliam because he can take a shoestring budget and make a movie that looks like it's big-budget, but still retains a real renegade sort of witicysm.
Of course I'm also in to Kevin Smith and Quentin Tarantino, too.
Television:
I don't watch a lot, but what I do watch, I'm devoted to. Family Guy, South Park, Battlestar Galactica, and The Daily Show, are my favorites.
Books:
I read mostly non-fiction. History, Archaeology, Physics, Political Science....
Whatever I want to know more about.
Heroes:
Herve Villachiaise. You have to see the picture of him with three supermodels hanging all over him in the back of a limousine. He was probably not even as tall as their legs (being a midget), but he had no trouble getting a date.
