I'm the new Neptunes... bzoo bzoo...

About Me

I am John. Some people call me Man-John (although truth be known, it is usually on accident). I am Papa John. I am 24 years of age now (all thanks to Siérragh), and a grand specimen of manhood. I am awesome at finger-painting. I make the most beautiful poems ever on the Earth-times. Check them out in "Papa's Poem Corner" found at elopingcamel.blogspot.com . I can almost grow facial hair all over my face. Mostly just the goat, though. It is a dark shade of Deeply Disturbing Red.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

THAT'S RIGHT... THE COMMODORE IS BACK... and of course, my rocking band... TWENTY MULE TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Interests

I am obsessed with music and movies. Disco Rollerskating, man I'm all about that. Fingerpaint myself silly. Writing is my deep secret passion; my illegitimate love-child that I hide in a basket in my sock drawer. I play guitar and sing in my band: Twenty Mule Team [formerly known as Hubwife, who was formerly known as The Corey Hughes 5, who was formerly known as SST (Speedo Swim Time), who was formerly known as Flickjob, who was formerly known as Braunschwanger]. I have a new obsession now: soccer. What an amazing sport. It's too bad the U.S.A. is so apathetic towards it. We could have an absolutely stellar team if every kid didn't grow up wanting to be Kobe or Derek Jeter. Someday we will. The world will see. Oh, I also love foosball. Bag it up.

I'd like to meet:

Bob Ross. I would shake his hand and thank him for helping me through the roughest years of my life with his celestial art.

Music:

Word. Let's rock this (in alphabetical order): 311, Abandoned Pools, Alien Ant Farm, At the Drive In, Ben Folds Five (and no five), Ben Kweller, Bob Dylan, Bread, Circa Survive, Coheed and Cambria, The Cure, Cursive, Damien Rice, Dashboard Confessional, Death Cab for Cutie, Deftones, Dredg, Elliott Smith, The Flaming Lips, The Format, Frou Frou, The Get Up Kids, Glen Phillips, Harry Connick Jr., Hotel Lights, Incubus, Iron and Wine, Jack Johnson, James Taylor, Jamiroquai, Jay-Z, Jimmy Eat World, Jump Little Children, Jurassic 5, Kanye West, Kings of Convenience, Mae, Matchbook Romance, The Matches, Michael Jackson, The Mars Volta, Modest Mouse, Muse, Mute Math, My Chemical Romance, Nelly Furtado, The New Amsterdams, Ozma, Pinback, Phantom Planet, The Postal Service, The Promise Ring, Queen, Radiohead, Rosebud, Saves The Day, Say Anything, Simon & Garfunkel, Shakira, Sparta, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, Thursday, Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Used, Weezer, Yellow Red Sparks.

Movies:

So many... Labrynth, The Dark Crystal, LOTR, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Braveheart, Gladiator, Cool As Ice, Dumb and Dumber, X-Men(s), Josie and the Pussycats, Batman, TMNT, Zoolander, Heavy Weights, Strictly Ballroom, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Benny and Joon, Mystery Science Theater 3000 (all of 'em), Spidermen(s), Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Screwed, Dirty Work. Good goo. I could go on for days here.

Television:

Shows I currently actually watch: 24, Smallville, The Office, Lost. I love Conan O'Brien and SNL but haven't really kept up with them for a while. Old school favorites: Transformers, He-Man, G.I. Joe, Thundercats, X-Men, Batman, Spiderman, TMNT, M.A.S.K., Garfield and Friends, Simpsons.

Books:

Harry Potter!!!!!! I love that man... in a very platonic, and legally binding way. Lord of the Rings. R.A. Salvatore's stuff (and much of the Forgotten Realms reads). It's all awesome, but especially the Drizzt stuff. Angels and Demons & The Da Vinci Code. Very nice. New addiction: Star Wars novels/comics and Transformers comics.

Heroes:

Bob Ross. Seriously.

Writing

I find it odd that what I want to do is write, but I hardly ever do it.  The only writing I ever do is songs, my soccer blog, and a little brainstorming for story ideas here and there.  Part...
