Founder and head engineer Jake Worley is devoted to making good music be heard. Whether it be rock & roll, blues, pop, jazz, or hip-hop, Jake has experience in that genre. Being very versitile is one thing, but being experimental is another. Most engineers are afraid to experiment in fear of losing their notable "sound" as an engineer. Jake, however, will surpass any measurable need in the name of art, and for art only. He is currently going through an internship at the popular Portland studio Kung Fu Bakery (kungfubakery.com), under the private influence of engineer Bob Stark. Aside from that, The Shed has been in operation for 4 years now. Within the first 4 years The Shed has released 4 offical CD's and has recorded thousands upon thousands of songs - every one of them recorded, edited, mixed, and published by Jake Worley. The Shed has also served the home of local groups such as Lindsey Hall, 11th Floor, Off The Cuff, Explorers of the Dream World, Johnny On The Spot, and of course, Laughin' Jake & His Medicine Band. You can get links to their stuff under the "clients" blog.Cameron Blake, owner of The Shed, also takes care of any bookings. To gig any of the bands listed, e-mail Cameron at
