nimmen means basically "take the full load..." (aka "nimmen" in the swiss german language)...
growing up in the eighties and having backgrounds from the new wave era, such as listening also to early hip-hop, punk and metall stuff and influenced by the brighton-techno style, the nimmen crew are trying to explore the more radical margins of sound and pushing the boundaries of sound experience to the limit.
nimmen was based in early 90´ies, but got its name and went official in 1999.
