Smees, aka Pierre Voillat, was soaked in hip-hop culture before making a 180° turn that lead in his interest in the power that can be emitted by extremely luxuriant saturated tones. His love for the strength of rhythm was first developed through his co-operation with Michele Fasano within the Audiotrash duo that has gained a solid dancefloor-killer reputation in only three years. Now practising on his own, Smees hasn't lost any part of the energy that characterised him. Now he is working on several projects between experimental electro-breakbeat, drum and bass, hip-hop and funk.
In 2003 smees creat a new future-funk project with Nino-fight called DUCKS FUNK.
