About Me

It's only fair to let everybody know our current state of affair:
The band, as you can tell, is (as far as I know) no longer together. We began writing a new set after our last show, which was back in February at WAXX, but personal issues as well as conflicting work schedules made any progress we were making come to a screeching halt.
We began writing a new set and things were starting to piece together very nicely, the sound was a little more mature than the songs you were all used to hearing with a little more effects thrown down on the guitars, bass riffs that flowed with the other instruments better than before, a vast improvement on the drums, and more mature lyrics. We pretty much matured as much as a band of 18 and 19 year olds could after a year of playing shows here and there.
Conflicting schedules caused a problem with being able to practice on a regular basis, and the fact that graduation was nearing caused even more problems. As summer began everybody kind of realized that practicing every day and finishing the set we started wasn't practical nor should it be our first priority.
I, as well as the rest of the band, would like to thank everybody who went to our shows, whether you liked us, or just tolerated us; all the people who helped us advance to the final round of the Skunk's Nest Battle of the Bands, and everybody who showed us support in one way or another. Though the band was short lived, I had a blast playing shows and meeting new people as well as playing with some pretty good acts along the way, and I know Steve, Blake, John and Jordan all feel the same way. Thank you again for showing your faces at shows, showing us some hospitality, even if you figured out music blew, and giving us a chance to do something we all really enjoyed.
As far as future bands go, I'm not positive on what everybody is looking to do, and if you're truly interested you can ask them for their two cents, but here's the skinny on where each of us is attending college at and if you're attending the same place or somewhere nearby and are interesting to possibly starting a band or just looking for somebody to jam don't be afraid to message whoever on myspace or on AIM.
Jordan is attending PNC, I believe with the goal of getting a degree in teaching, and I know he's the only one in the band at the moment that I'm positive has the intent on starting up a new band.
Steve is also attending PNC, but I don't know what his intended major is, he'll have to add to this when he gets the chance.
Blake is going to IUSB where I believe he's majoring in business and audio recording, or something along those lines, don't quote me on this.
John is going off to Columbia University in Chicago, and honestly I have no idea what his major is going to be, but rest assured it'll be art related seeing that John has a natural talent for drawing.
I, Tyler, am going to Ball State for architecture, so finding time to jam or anything might be an issue, but I plan on taking my guitar and my little Orange 30 watt amp anyways. John and I talked about possibly staying in touch and sending ideas back and forth and possibly having a little acoustic project or something along those lines.
If anybody is interested in being able to obtain the songs off our 4 song demo that we recorded last summer (may '06), I'll try to get those posted up on here for download and hopefully sometime before we all go off to school we can get together and record (on a really shitty computer speaker, since none of us have any money to go back to Burning Bridge or any recording studio for that matter) Holding Hopes and Grudges, the last song in our set, and Green Eyes Mean Go, the half acoustic half electric song we played only twice. No promises though.
Thanks again for anybody who helped us, played with us, bought our demo, supported us at shows, and even the people who tolerated us and our music.
ADD THE BANNER!!!
Big thanks to all the people of burning bridge recordings.
To any band we have played with, or encountered at anytime...
We are incredibly grateful for having met all of you and we love you all.
