I had written here that i was a southern belle and although i am from the south i'm not quite as demure and restrained as a true "lady of the south" and i'm certainly not graceful. i fall down alot. i get bored really easily and my interests change much and ofton. I've been married for about six years and have two kids who bring me the most joy i've ever felt. justice is four , lily belle is 8 months. Man, kids change your whole life. Definitely for the better. They help you grow up if you're ready yet at the same time always allow you to still think like a kid and not sweat the small stuff. There's a big ole difference in comitting to your child and comitting to anything or anyone else. I guess not all people feel this way but luckily i do. I'm super A.D.D. and just learned that earilier this year. i'm 34 and planning on going to school this year which is huge for me. It's going to be tough but I guess like most of us i do feel like i have something to prove. Prove that i can finish something , succeed, meet a goal. everyone has there hang up, that's obviously been mine. I just always thought I couldn't finish anything I started. What else about me? Hmmm, I really dig photography and music always makes me feel like moving. I used to be in a band called Twobanger and I shook the maracas and had a blast , those were my glory days. I was a skinny little thing cause I danced my booty off all the time. super fun. since then i had spinal cord surgery and lost a little of my wiggle and although my body can't move like it used to music still moves my soul.Today my biggest role is Mommy and that's totally cool. Of course I think my kids are the funniest , best looking , smartest sweetest kids on the planet because they are and because they're mine. justice and lily are my favorite people in the world and I find that few people entertain me like they do, especially the four year old. four is fun. I love to love people even though most people irritate the crap out of me most of the time. Still, I always love learning about new interesting people and hearing their stories. I can be pretty moody and ofton hermit like , sometimes can stay in the house for days, but i don't think most people who know me even know that and i know the people who used to know me would never believe it. My best quality I think is loyalty to friends . you know how in life you sometimes click with people that you know you'll love forever, when i've crossed people like that in life that have touched my heart i'm pretty much loyal forever and then when real life hits and sometimes those people let me down or prove they're not so loyal to me , i'm usually crushed and never see it coming and am always shocked when people screw me over. I love to be "the special one" that people love to love and will never forget. I guess we all like to feel like that though. And though i think everyone is free to have an opinion i always want mine to matter.

My Interests

I love my babies. justice is four and lily is 8.5 months. they are my favorite people in the world to hang out with. I'm interested in everything they do , how they learn, what they eat, how they grow, how i'll teach them to be good people and self assured adults. i'm also way into photography, music, good food and i'm interested in people in general. i like to hear peoples stories.

I'd like to meet:

Don't really need any new friends to be honest but i love finding old friends that i thought were long gone!And I am definitely NOT lookin for a luva so keep moving if that's what you're about. OH, i sound so rude, sorry. just not interested . the man i have is hard enough to deal with. hollywood --

Music:

Love Bonnie Rait, Fleetwood Mac, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, James Brown, Dave Matthews, Lenny Kravits, Bob Marley, The Doors, Led Zepplin, Brad Paisly , Willie Nelson, the man in black, Loretta Lynn. Avril Lavinge, Jack White, Greenday. But I especially love to hear my friends play....always have and always will love to watch george brown on drums, del shaz on bass, david hinson can play anything. twobanger will always be my favorite band in the world!

Movies:

Pretty in pink, dirty dancing (nobody puts baby in a corner!) , thelma and lousie, benny and june, edward scissorhands, walk the line was really good, mommy dearest, breakfast club, eddie and the crusiers ( i don't know why? loved the soundrack), the outsiders, legends of the fall, love old movies.

Television:

I'm a reality tv sucker. i have a bad tv habit and watch way too much! I've seen ALL the reality tv shows i think, from the first 48 to project runway. i even watched battle of the reality tv stars . i don't know why i have this compulsion . And Lost makes my head hurt but I love it anyway. and i think ashley parker angel is freaking hilarious! he's my new favorite dumb blonde.

Books:

Harry Potter, i know ...me and all the other nine year olds.

Heroes:

I have to mention a few special people that i consider to be my heroes because of the examples they set by the way they live. My sister, MISSY because of the relationship she has with her fifteen year old daughter. Amber could've chosen a different way but because of the mom my sister is she has a fifteen year old who would rather hang out with her mom than her friends sometimes. My friend SONYA and I have been friends since the second grade, she has always been the one who has "gone for it!" She ran for student council, she tried out for cheerleader, she moved to new york , graduated from law school. I was always her cheerleader. she has always know that i had what it took to do great things and she's never given up on me even when i gave up on myself. she inspires me to do big things and not to settle. My friend LORI just recently came back into my life and it was like finding an old pair of favorite socks (as she puts it!) That old comfortable favorite pair that fits just right. She's one of my heroes because she is one of a kind, she's a leader and people naturally follow her and want to be like her. She doesn't try to be anyone but herself and she's proud of who she is and is never afraid of change. she's one of those people in my life that just gets me and i always know if i need her she'll be there. JEANNE's a hero because she is so loyal and so easy to spend time with , she's been through things that would cause alot of people to just hide under the covers and not come out but she doesn't hide .She is so independent and so modest, she has no idea what an example she sets for me to be strong. My sister in law , JENNIFER is tough. she learns from her past and won't settle for less than she deserves and i respect her so much for it. she has high standards and the man that ends up with her will be a lucky one. ALLISON is a faithful, prayer warrior who stands in the gap for me when my own faith is low. She's a great mother and always renews my faith and she doesn't even know it. And then there's JERRI, who i love so much because she is who she is and she doesn't apologize for it or explain herself. She doesn't owe anything to anyone but herself and she always , always , never ever fails to show me a new perspective that makes me grow. HALEY is my baby cousin who I'm so proud of. She's so much stronger than i was at her age. She's stayed on track, she doesn't settle and no matter how hard it is to wait in life , she remains patient and loyal to whatever God's plan is for her life. shes a strong , independent woman and i admire her so much. she sets such a good example and i pray that my lily belle will look to her as an example. i'm so blessed to have so many close "heroes" in my life. I gather strenth and hope from all of these women and I love them all. Most people are lucky to have one good friend and I have so many.
