ABOUT ME
Ultimate Massage Therapy (UMT) was created by Angela Chustz-Parent, a 10 year Licensed Massage Therapist and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) enthusiast. Her mission is to work with MMA fighters during pre and post events as well as during trainings to help increase athletic performance, flexibility, and rehabilitation. Over the years Angela has worked with many athletes in Puerto Rico, Alabama, and in Louisiana providing sports massage to reach their ultimate performance.
UMT offers professional massage services to all MMA fighters, law enforcement, military personnel & their families, and business professionals.
PRE & POST EVENT MASSAGES
Angela is a dedicated MMA fan and also a member of Cage Side Live Radio, the Official radio station of MMAmix.com. Along with her dedication to the sport, she is providing FREE 10-30 minute pre and post event sports massages to MMA fighters at selected events, as long as her sponsors are available to support her in this mission.
TEAM UMT
As UMT grows Angela hopes to staff other licensed massage therapists to assist her in her mission. TEAM UMT will offer local and out of state services for the ultimate athlete who wants ultimate performance!
SPORTS MASSAGE BENEFITS
UMT has great potential to assist MMA athletes to become better, rather than merely normal. In striving to be better, MMA athletes attempt to systematically increase the level of training and thereby subjecting the body to gradual and controlled overuse. This overuse can often create imbalances and problems in the soft tissues, which if ignored may become chronic. Clearly this may hinder the athlete's performance and/or rate of improvement. Sports Massage can become a key ingredient in any athlete's success and this is why top competitors incorporate it as an integral part of their training regime. Clearly there are also significant benefits for those other than top athletes and if you're training for an event such as the "Rage in the Cage" then maybe you should consider Sports Massage as an integral part of your training program.
