my name is daniel john montagu smith. Me and my late grandmother, margaret, share the same birthday. eighth of august except she was born in the year 1921 and i, 1979. The weird part is my dad, bill is born on the fourth of march which is the same date that margaret died on though many years later- i don't mean to be flippant in mentioning this- there are strange coincidences and patterns in all life- it's hard to know what they signify but it is comforting to be aware of them. Whatever- i play guitar- i also love driving- i love reading - i love staring for long periods of time at the same thing- i love re-winding short fragments of music constantly and playing them over again until something different is heard- i love swimming- i love singing- i also love walking and trains- i feel very safe and almost complete at a major rail intersection more than i do anywhere else- I have recurring dreams - sometimes about riding in elevators where the bottom falls out of them and i'm in a huge multi-storey car park- some on trains where i'm trying to catch a specific one but missing it or hopping from one to another- dreams where i make myself fly by pushing downwards with my hands- other dreams where i'm running along a beach and the sea is rising up threatening to drown me but i always narrowly miss it- and another dream where i'm in a strange house with the other noisettes (shing and jim) and we're playing a gig but i'm having trouble making my equipment work so the other two play the show and hope that i'll join in but i never manage to fix whatever is wrong with my stuff- I am very happy!!!! :0) I met this girl called VICTORIA and all hell broke loose!!
