Like I have mentioned, I love concerts and movies, which in turns also means that I have a love for music... Thats a given, anyways, I love to watch football, I love to play it again. I love to learn things that catches my intrest like music, and movies, and writing... Funny thing about me is, that I hate reading, but I love to write. Something about the way that a person could put words and meanings together just makes me happy. makes me imagine and see things bigger and different. So if I tell you that Im writing, or have gotten creative, I may have just written something cool... jealous? I would be. :)
I do not turn a soul away, unless I can tell that they are going to be trouble... Either way, I love meeting new and exciting people, and by exciting, I also do mean dull... I dont care... I love meeting people. Its also kinda in the job description... Everyone, off the bat, has my respect... I give everyone my all... I will give you the clothes off my back if you need it... You have to earn my disrespect, and have to work extra hard for me to put you in the hate catagory... no matter how strong the word is, I do hate. and I would hate to hate you. :) I have already met a lot of famous people here in this big ass city, but there are a few that I still would love to sit down and just conversate with, just to say, that I have met, such a such a famous person...
..
I love REAL music. When I say REAL music, I mean music that has a message, or inspiration to inspire future generations to make a move to better the world. Music comes from the soul and is expressed from the heart, and is played with everything you have. If you play music that intrests me, that means that I consider it to be real. TV on the Radio, The White Stripes, Janelle Monae, The Raconteurs, Noisettes, P.O.D., A lot of the classic rockers, Nicole Willis and the Soul Investigators, Erykah Badu, Coheed and Cambria, and many more musicians entertain me cause the play with passion. They play REAL music. The pop shit that they forcefeed you on the radio isnt real music. Its just the shit that you can stand without turning off the radio. Believe me when I say that Music and Society are NOT to meet eye to eye. Music is the influence to society and not the other way around. Thats why I have such a passion for good REAL music, and such a hate for shit music that they play like these teenie boppers with no hair on there nuts... so, with that said. listen and respect REAL music. It will better our history.
Like I mentioned, I love movies. Great getaway I think... To watch a good movie is to allow your soul to be touched. And there are plenty of movies that I saw that just made me happy, inspired, laugh, determined, and most importantly, made me feel human. seriously! I love movies that damn much! What can I say. The only real genre of movie that I do not like, and try to stay away from is horror. I do not like horror flicks. never had never will... and political movies. Kiss my ass, keep your opinions away from me. But some of the movies that I will mention, will, and may include some horror and some political movies. I like them for other reason. so here we go. in no particular order : Anchor Man, The Ladies Man, Beerfest, Smokin' Aces, P.S., Spider Man 1 and 2, Lord of the Ring Trilogy, The Matrix Trilogy, X-men Trilogy, Super Man Returns, Gridiron Gang, We Were Soldiers, Wayne's World 1 and 2, All the Austin Powers movies, CARS, Schreck 1 and 2, Robin Hood Men in Tights, The Program (filmed in Columbia, South Carolina, MY hometown! :-D), Reniasance Man (same thing about the hometown), Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (partly filmed in my hometown), Saw, Carrie, The Rage: Carrie 2, Accepted, Saving Private Ryan, Talladega Nights, Nacho Libre, Nepoleon Dynomite, Water Boy, RENT, The Grudge, The Ring, Apocalypto, Passion of the Christ, Brave Heart, Gladiator, Waiting, and Dodgeball: A true under dog story, Grindhouse (Planet Terror/Death Proof), Across The Universe, The Simpsons Movie, Leatherheads, Superhero Movie, Y Tu Mama' Tambien, CLOVERFIELD, Dancing at the Blue Iguana.... Thats all I can think of right now, but there are plenty more. trust me.
I have literally, as far back as I can remember, had a TV in my room. Most of my decisions in life, that I have made, has been the result of what I saw on TV. I dont do a lot of things cause of TV, and I am not ashamed by it. I love watching TV, keeps me entertained and informed if I choose to stay in contact with the world and its goings on... I stay clear from reality TV as best as possible, I watch some primetime, and I love a good show or cartoon that will make me laugh. some of the shows that are on now that I watch are Heroes, Adult Swim, Spongebob Squarepants, The Boondocks, Mythbusters, and ESPN... thats as close to reality TV as it will get for me. so BOYAH! I am always flippin the channel to see if there is anything entertaining on, so I may end up watching some things on Comedy Central, or MTV 2, where they actually play music, and FX or where ever... TV is cool with me, and I will always make time for TV... Also, with the TV on, it quiets my thoughts, to where I can actually sleep at night.
Im not much into reading, but I have 2 good ones. Wild at Heart. a great book. really good for men to read to see what they are suppose to be in the world according to God, and of course, the bible! :) I love that book. a lot of people with short comings like me, and God to help them through! :)
all those who lay down there lives and livelihoods to make this a better place or to save another life, deservingly or not, is a hero in my book. God bless you all. Also my favorite is probably Peter Petrelli. If I could be any hero, it would be him... I mean SERIOUSLY! If you pass by someone who has a power, you get it, and keep it forever!!! HOW FREAKIN COOL IS THAT!!!???!?! But anyways, Im done.
