About Me

Wow!...Where should I begin? After graduating from the University of Richmond in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, I decided to stay within my comfort zone and the bubble that is the city of Richmond (RIP West End...tear). My first year out of college, I worked for an advertising agency as an Account Coordinator on a youth tobacco prevention campaign (Can anyone tell us why smoking isn't stupid)? I was then blessed with the wonderful opportunity to work as the Promotions Director for Radio-One Richmond for a year (POWER 92.1 JAMZ your 18 IN-A-ROW HIP HOP STATION/ THE NEW 99.3/105.7 KISS FM/ and PRAISE 104.7FM THE INSPIRATION STATION). I can't even put into words how rewarding this experience was. I will miss my Radio-One Family terribly, but am very excited about the next step in my life. It was that experience that gave me the confidence to take my next big step.I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies (emphasis in PR) at Howard University. I'm truly stepping out on faith...and am very excited about what the future holds for me!!! "I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT THE REST OF MY LIFE!"...stay tuned...because it's gonna be FABULOUS!!!

I worked for a Radio Station...'nough said.But to be a li'l more specific...old skool hip-hop and r&b: TLC, Mary J. (what's the 411...best CD EVER), Dru Hill, Arrested Devlopment, Cece Peniston, Jodeci, EnVogue, Prince, SWV, Heavy D, BBD, Jade (you remember them???) etc. A li'l bit of "dirty pop"...Britney Spears (pre K-fed...), NSYNC (JT 4 lyfe!!), Kelly Clarkson. Neo Soul: Maxwell, India Arie, Jill Scott. The list goes on... Linkin Park, Maroon 5...anything that I can dance to, get "crunk" to (although I'm not one to get that crunk...but you know what I mean. Now, I don't mean to brag...but I work for some wonderful stations!! One "Stellar" Station if I say so myself. Radio-One Richmond's Own Praise 104.7...The Inspiration Station has just won the 20...
